The concept of the project is to expand the existing railway network within and around the city of Ruse by creating a link between the urban and the industrial part of the city. 2274 is the number of the employees working in Ruse industrial zone which is 20 km away from the city center. The urban railway could offer people a quick and comfortable 30 min. ride to their working places. The new network will be consisting of 10 stops, 3 of which already exist.
The project will encourage more people to use public transport and will also reduce harmful emissions from cars.
