The main idea of the project is to transform part of the buildings of the School for reserve officers in multi-institutional campus where several Bulgarian universities will develop a modern educational center with а boarding school attached. The school for reserve officers is located in Pleven and is functional from 1961 to its closure in 2008. The project will be developed on an area of 68 acres, a part of the school, as well as three of the abandoned buildings with a total area of 10,213 square meters.
The focus of the project is the development of a new, internationally recognized research center focusing on the medical sciences, as well as improving the social and business environment in Pleven and the region around.
